Renting a car in Morocco: what you need to know
Morocco is a country to drive through. The motorway network links Tangier to Agadir via Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech, and the national roads reach the regions trains and buses do not: the Ourika valley, the Souss beaches, the villages of the Rif. Renting a vehicle remains the only way to set your own route and your own timetable.
The paperwork is light. A valid driving licence, an identity document and a bank card in the driver's name are enough at most agencies. Third-party insurance is included with every vehicle listed; additional cover — comprehensive, glass breakage, theft — is taken out with the agency when you pick the car up.

What documents do I need to rent?
A valid driving licence (held for more than 2 years), a valid national ID or passport, and the means to pay the deposit the agency asks for — its amount is shown on each vehicle page, and the accepted method is set by the agency. For foreign drivers, an international driving permit is recommended.
Can I cancel my booking for free?
It depends on your plan. Flexible (+15%): free cancellation with a full deposit refund up to 72h before pickup. Standard: the deposit is non-refundable if you cancel.
Is insurance included in the price?
All vehicles are covered by mandatory third-party liability insurance. Additional options (comprehensive, glass breakage, theft) are available at the partner agency on pickup, at very competitive rates.
Can I return the vehicle in a different city?
Some partner agencies offer drop-off in a different city. This option may involve extra charges. We recommend contacting the agency directly to confirm this before booking.
Is there an age limit to rent?
Most agencies require a minimum age of 21 and 2 years of driving experience. Some premium vehicles may require 25. Young driver fees may apply for drivers under 25.
