Terms and Conditions
⚠️ Loccor is exclusively an intermediation platform connecting independent car rental agencies with clients. Loccor is neither the rental company nor the owner of the vehicles offered, and is not a party to the rental contract concluded between the client and the partner agency.
1. Purpose
These Terms of Sale govern the relationship between Loccor and any user ("the Client") using the www.loccor.com platform to book a vehicle.
2. Nature of the Service — Intermediary Role
Loccor is an intermediation platform connecting partner car rental agencies with individuals or professionals wishing to rent a vehicle in Morocco.
Loccor is not a car rental company, does not own the vehicles offered, and is not a party to the rental contract concluded between the Client and the partner agency. Its role is limited to facilitating the connection, securing the deposit payment, and providing mediation in the event of a dispute.
3. Booking Process
- The Client selects a vehicle and chooses the rental dates.
- A service fee is added to the deposit paid online. Its exact amount is shown in the price details before any booking and covers secure payment processing. It is non-refundable once the booking is confirmed, except for cancellations caused by Loccor or the agency.
- Payment currency. Prices are set in Moroccan dirhams (MAD), the currency of the contract. Online payment, however, is charged in euros (EUR), as our payment providers do not process the dirham. Conversion uses the day's rate applied by Loccor, shown before you confirm. Any currency-conversion or international-payment fees charged by the Client's bank remain payable by the Client.
- A deposit is paid online to confirm the booking: 20% of the rental price and 50% of the options price. It is broken down as follows:
- 5% constitutes the Loccor commission, earned upon confirmation.
- 15% is held in a guarantee system (agency wallet) and released upon actual pickup of the vehicle.
- The balance — 80% of the rental and 50% of the options — is paid directly to the partner agency upon vehicle pickup.
- A unique booking code (format LOC-XXXXX) is sent to the Client by email.
4. Guarantee System — Agency Wallet
To protect all parties, Loccor maintains a secure wallet system for each partner agency:
- The 15% held at booking constitutes the agency's guarantee.
- These funds are released to the agency only after the Client confirms pickup of the vehicle.
- In the event of a failure by the agency, these funds are used to compensate the Client.
- Any negative wallet balance is deducted from the agency's next payouts; if the debt remains unpaid, the account is automatically suspended.
5. Cancellation Policy
| Who cancels | Timing | Client receives | Agency |
|---|---|---|---|
| Client | More than 72h before | 15% refunded | Nothing (booking released) |
| Client | Less than 72h before | Nothing | Receives the 15% (compensation) |
| Agency | More than 48h before | 100% refunded (20%) | Withheld from future payouts |
| Agency | Less than 48h before | 100% refunded (20%) | Withheld from future payouts |
| Force majeure | Any time | 100% refunded | No penalty (if proven) |
The 72h (client) and 48h (agency) windows allow Loccor to find an alternative solution before any final cancellation.
6. Unavailable Vehicle
If the booked vehicle turns out to be unavailable, Loccor applies the following procedure in order of priority:
1. Replacement by the agency
The agency must offer a vehicle of an equivalent or higher category, at no extra cost to the Client.
2. Referral to another Loccor agency
Loccor searches for an available vehicle with a partner agency in the same city. The Client is transferred without paying the deposit again.
3. Full refund + compensation
If no solution is found, the Client is refunded 100% of the 20% paid. An equivalent amount is withheld from the Agency's future payouts. The defaulting agency bears the corresponding wallet penalty.
7. Disputes between the Client and the Agency
Disagreements may arise in particular regarding:
- The condition of the vehicle — any disagreement over existing damage must be reported and recorded in writing at pickup.
- Additional charges not provided for in the initial booking.
- The return deadline and any penalties applied.
- The quality of service of the partner agency.
In the event of a dispute, the Client is invited to contact Loccor via the contact form. Loccor undertakes to act as a good-faith mediator and to seek an amicable solution as quickly as possible.
Loccor commitment: We are committed to continuously improving our dispute-management tools and to introducing, in future versions of the platform, a structured resolution system (built-in messaging, arbitration, simplified refunds).
8. Partner Agency Obligations
By joining the Loccor platform, each partner agency undertakes to:
- Keep its availability calendar up to date in real time.
- Honour every booking confirmed on the platform.
- Notify Loccor of any unavailability at least 48h before the pickup date.
- Offer a replacement vehicle in the event of unforeseen unavailability.
- Respect the prices displayed on the platform with no hidden fees.
9. Agency Sanctions and Penalties
1st incident — Formal warning + automatic wallet penalty according to the scale in article 5.
2nd incident — Temporary suspension of the agency account (30 days) + wallet penalty.
3rd incident — Permanent exclusion from the Loccor platform with no refund of registration fees.
10. Force majeure
Force majeure means any unforeseeable, irresistible event beyond the parties' control, including: serious vehicle accident, theft, natural disaster, national strike, government decision.
In the event of force majeure duly evidenced by an official document, no penalty will be applied to the agency. The Client will be fully refunded the 20% paid. Loccor reserves the right to verify the authenticity of the supporting documents provided.
11. Required Documents
To take possession of a vehicle, the Client must present:
- A valid driving licence (national or international)
- A valid identity document (ID card or passport)
- The booking code received by email (format LOC-XXXXX)
12. Liability
Loccor undertakes to keep the platform accessible and functional. However, as an intermediary, Loccor cannot be held liable for the acts, omissions or failures of partner agencies. The rental contract is concluded directly between the Client and the partner agency.
13. Loccor Commission
Loccor receives a commission of 5% on each confirmed booking, deducted from the deposit paid by the Client. Partner agencies were informed of this mechanism when registering on the platform.
14. Governing Law
These Terms of Sale are governed by Moroccan law. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance will be brought before the competent Moroccan courts.
