Unlimited mileage car hire in Morocco: what to check
On a Moroccan road trip, unlimited mileage really matters: as the crow flies, Tangier and Agadir are already about 690 kilometres apart, and the road adds more. On 3 October 2026, almost every car in the Loccor catalogue came with unlimited mileage. A few exceptions remain, and they are easy to spot.

Unlimited mileage car hire: the rule, not the exception
On 3 October 2026, almost all the cars in the Loccor catalogue had unlimited mileage. You pay a daily rate and drive as far as you like, with no per-kilometre charge.
The few other cars, in Rabat and Agadir, include a set number of kilometres per day, with a cap of 181 to 250 kilometres a day depending on the car.
Cheap car hire with unlimited mileage: what prices?
On 3 October 2026, the cheapest unlimited-mileage car was listed at 200 dirhams a day. These are usually small economy cars, enough for a couple or a small family with sensible luggage.
For longer rentals, the daily rate often drops from 7, 15 or 30 days. That is when unlimited mileage pays off: the ten-day loop in our Marrakech, desert, Fez and Chefchaouen itinerary already comes to about 2,000 kilometres.
Which cities offer unlimited mileage?
On 3 October 2026, unlimited-mileage cars were spread as follows: more than half in Casablanca, then Marrakech, Al Hoceima, Tangier, Tetouan, Ouarzazate, Fez, Nador, Essaouira and Rabat.
In Rabat and Agadir, most cars have limited mileage: check the kilometres included on the car page before booking a long trip.
How to show only unlimited mileage
In the search, tick “Unlimited mileage only” in the Mileage filter. Each card also shows “Unlimited mileage” when it applies.
For a limited-mileage car, the car page shows the kilometres included per day, the total included for your stay and, when the agency has entered it, the price per extra kilometre. You pay any excess directly to the agency when you return the car.
What distances to expect on a Moroccan road trip
As the crow flies, Casablanca is about 220 kilometres from Marrakech, 290 from Tangier and 245 from Fez; by road it is further. Our ten-day itinerary through the imperial cities and the desert totals about 2,000 kilometres.
With 181 to 250 kilometres included per day, a loop like that barely fits, and every detour is charged by the kilometre: Chefchaouen, the Ourika valley, a day on the Atlantic coast. With unlimited mileage you stop doing the sums.
